Today we look at the features of the Fenix or Fenix XL, its components and its available models: double rubber, triple rubber, roller, double roller and inverter.
The Phoenix is available in sizes from 85 to 110 cm and the Phoenix XL from 85 to 130 cm is a little wider in its cuttlefish shape increasing its buoyancy, the rubbers are 14 or 16 mm and the arrows are 6.5, 7 or 7.5 mm depending on the configuration.
For 8mm arrows we can replace the Fenix tube with the new Mega tube model; like the Fenix, it is filled, lightweight, does not absorb water and does not need silicone plugs.
The Phoenix Inverter includes a Sigalsub Stark reel head and Harken pulley block. The reel is a vertical carbon fiber reel and has a Sigalsub Nemesis handle, but we also have optional Ermes handles. Contact us for your customization.
The lower pulleys limit recoil and make it easier to load. With a range of up to 7 mm, it is the most powerful Phoenix, especially for large pieces.
The Fenix roller and double roller, like the Inverter, have less recoil. The head is an Ermes Roller or Sigalsub, and the ceramic Ermes double roller is the one we use as standard. We also use 14mm bands, either black or red, and the Ermes Avatar handle, but we can use the Ermes Fighter. It has a vertical or horizontal reel.
The Phoenix double or triple reel uses 16mm rubber, is easy to load and handle underwater. The reel can be vertical or horizontal, also made of carbon, easy to load and handle underwater. It's perfect for beginners, finishing, or reef fishing, but in triple rubber and larger sizes, it's also great for waiting and catching big fish. For its price and versatility, it's a must-have for your fishing trips.
